The Hotel Sternen Oerlikon is a comfortable, small hotel in the Zurich suburb of Oerlikon, 5 minutes walk from the Zurich exhibition centre and the Hallenstadion, and 6 minutes by train from the central station of Zurich, and 5 minutes in the other direction to the airport at Zurich Kloten. Thus the hotel is conveniently placed for business travellers, and for leisure travellers who have an early flight to catch.

The Sternen Oerlikon represents excellent value for money, being more reasonably priced than most hotels in central Zurich, and with spacious, comfortable rooms. Rooms feature shower & toilet or bath & toilet, direct dial telephone, cable TV, hairdryer, minibar and radio. The rooms offer a simple level of comfort and are relatively quiet, especially those at the back of the hotel.

There is a sense of history here, as guests take their breakfast in the traditionally decorated breakfast room, featuring coats of arms on the walls and in panels of stained glass windows. A cold buffet breakfast is available for an extra charge of CHF17 per person.

Internet access is available in a corner of the lobby, and the hotel also has a lift and its own parking spaces. There are good connections to all forms of transport from here - the tram stop is right outside, and the station is only a couple of minutes walk.
