The hotel is situated in a central location, behind the Parliament and the Viennese City Hall and will offer 74 rooms and suites. The building dates from1911 during the Modernist Period that began with the Vienna School and the Bauhaus. The emphasis is on rationalism, the elimination of ornament and the use of technological advances in materials that allow flexibility of design. This principle has been adhered to and adapted to incorporate the existing lineal and modern architectural elements. The Hotel functions as a Gallery and will offer guests an exclusive exhibition of Glass works by the international artist Ioan Nemtoi.The concept of the hotel is to combine the elements of life, fire (Transparency & Light), earth (the material we use), air (the ceiling of each room is 3,30 meters) and water (Lineal forms & Flexibility) with all the technical advantages of a new Design Hotel.

Guests will appreciate that the guestrooms are fully equipped with the latest technology including flat screen television with satellite and Internet Access. Rooms also offer individually controllable air conditioning regardless of the season. The international Glass designer Ioan Nemtoi is presenting his extraordinary Glass design objects over an exhibition space of 4.600 m² within the entire Hotel. Ioan Nemtoi who was born in Rumania designed the Nemtoi Restaurant and Bar and combined outstanding Art with contemporary Design.
