The hotel is located in the heart of Venice, overlooking the San Marco basin, the beautiful Island of San Giorgio and the stunning Salute Church. Next door there is the Pieta' Church where the famous Italian musician Vivaldi used to play and where his music is still being played in concerts.
This is an excellent property, small and cosy, in a very central and prestigious location. The quality of the service and of the facilities offered is of a superior standard. Strongly recommended. Recently the management added an annex, in the same style and with the same characteristics of the rest of the hotel, with a bar and a meeting room, just on the other side of the hotel courtyard. This is a traditional Venetian building in keeping with the surroundings. On the top floor there is a panoramic terrace overlooking the San Marco basin.
Rooms are quite large in size and furnished in rich Venetian style with moquette and fabrics of warm colours and precious texture. Rooms are equipped with all the modern comforts and advanced technology. Some of the marbled bathrooms feature Jacuzzi or hydro-massage shower. A few rooms benefit also from an unforgettable view of the San Marco basin with its islands and monuments in the background. Charming junior suites are also available at this hotel.
The small but very well presented lobby is furnished in traditional Venetian style. Reception desk is made of an antique table and a chair is welcomingly placed in front of it, to allow guests to sit while talking to the professional hotel staff. There are green sofas and armchairs while the predominant colour of the table fabrics is golden. The area is adorned with flowers and plants, scented candles, and Murano glass.
There is a small but well-arranged breakfast room with marbled floors and walls painted in pastel colours. Much attention to detail is paid in the way the breakfast tables and the buffet is presented. There is also a bar with a few tables located in the hotel annex located just on the other side of the inner courtyard, and a roof terrace that offers breathtaking views of the San Marco Basin.
