The hotel is situated in the heart of the city centre, overlooking the water and the Gamla Stan (old city). It is within walking distance to the central station and the shopping area.
Excellent service in a high standard establishment with a great location. One of the best in Stockholm.
It is a modern purpose-built red brick building, giving an impression of a warehouse or an office block. However the hotel fits in with all of its surroundings.
The lobby is very large with marble floors recently renovated to give the lobby a fresh feel. There is a very large seating area by the bar with a number of sofas. A lively atmosphere is common in this huge lobby.
The superior rooms are large in size, well maintained and decorated in an opulent and typically grand American five star manner. Mostly they occupy superior locations in the building to that of standard rooms, although they are equipped with the same excellent modern facilities ideal for both leisure and business travellers. Rooms have been recently renovated and are in fantastic condition.
There is a choice of restaurants; the elegant gourmet restaurant offering a choice of Swedish and international cuisine. Another restaurant offers a more informal setting, breakfast is served and a smorgasbord in the evening.
