Sightseeing and Orientation in Klagenfurt
Klagenfurt is the provincial capital and
cultural centre of Carinthia. The Neuer Platz at the centre
of the city is inhabited by the city's symbol, the fountain
of the ferocious dragon named Lindwurm.
During the summer months most of the residents and visitors
visit the Wörther See (Lake Wörther) in the western
part of the city.
Klagenfurt is a great base if you are visiting Carinthia's
Lakes or St Viet or the Hochosterwitz Castle.
