The Hotel Centro is a modern building in the centre of Salzburg, only a couple of minutes walk from the Mirabell Gardens and the river. From here, all of the sites of the beautiful city of Salzburg are within easy reach on foot, including the Old Town, the Fortress and the Mozart museums.

Rooms at the Centro are a good size, bright and fresh, with large windows, many overlooking the pleasant courtyard gardens. All are ensuite, most with shower, and feature cable tv, telephone and the majority have a balcony. The furniture is simply styled in light wood, and together with the light coloured walls, give the rooms a fresh, homely appearance.

Breakfast is served in a light and airy room with huge windows overlooking the courtyardgarden. It consists of a cold buffet, where you can help yourself to breads, cereals, yoghurts, juices, tea and coffee etc.

The Hotel Centro offers internet access at a reasonable price. There is no parking for the hotel, but there is limited on-street parking in the nearby streets at no charge.

To get to the hotel from the Central Station, take bus nos 5, 6 or 51 in the direction of the city centre, and get off at Kongresshaus / Franz Josef Strasse. The Centro is at the junction of Auerspergstrasse and Haydnstrasse. Alternatively you can walk from the station taking the short cut under the railway bridge onto Gabelsbergerstrasse, and turn down Haydnstrasse.
