Casa da Calcada is a charming hotel with 30 rooms, a living room, a games room, a small museum dedicated to Antonio Joaquim do Lago Cerqueira, a Bar, a Restaurant and a splendid garden with a great view of Amarante, where two refreshing swimming pools can be found. Although the 30 rooms are all unique and original, they do not differ on comfort and quality. In early times, Casa da Calcada was honoured with the visit of noblemen and important celebrities of the 1st Republic. Today, it offers a Presential suite and 3 Execeutive suites. Opened in 2001, this 4-storey hotel comprising 30 rooms and one suite is set within 2000 m² of gardens. Inside the air-conditioned building guests will find a foyer with a reception desk, a cosy bar, a games room, and an air-conditioned restaurant offering local and international cuisine.
