Located on a quiet residential avenue in central Nice, close to the sea, shops, casino and old town, the four star Hotel Splendid offers everything guests could expect in comfort and elegance. The original Hotel Splendid opened in 1883 for the winter season, mostly for British clients wishing to find a milder climate. It was one of many hotels built in the "English district" of the Croix de Marbre near the sea where many villas were built near the Anglican and American churches and today the Splendid has been managed for three generations by the same family.

The hotels warm and relaxing staffs is completely devoted to their clients' comfort and well being and is the only hotel in Nice which features a Spa. "Le Concerto" restaurant specialises in classical French cooking with outdoor dining in summer. There is also a lobby bar and private underground garage. The Splendid's own restaurant, "Chez Hugo", features fine Mediterranean cooking with the option of "al fresco" dining. This hotel is ideally suited to business travellers and tourists alike.
