Its name is derived from trees which had all but the top few branches cut off, called lobsticks, used as trail markers and/or rendezvous points by the early voyageurs nearly two hundred years ago. Located close to all the conveniences of the town, the Lobstick Lodge has 139 spacious rooms with 2 queen beds that can accommodate triple and quad occupancy based on sharing existing beds, and feature mini fridges, irons and ironing board and a coffee maker, with complimentary tea and coffee. Hotel facilities include an indoor pool, three outdoor & two indoor hot tubs, sauna and steam room as well as laundry facilities and gift shop.
The Country Inn Restaurant has down-home Rocky Mountain cuisine in a friendly, family atmosphere. Decorated in a bright natural pine décor with historic photos of Jasper, the Country Inn Restaurant features generous home-style meals to please all palates and budgets.
