The hotel is well located on University Street, within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions including the Golden Roof.

This is a traditional Tyrolean style building with cream stonework, tiled roofing, turrets and festive hanging flower baskets.
Rooms are on average medium in size and are a modern style with wooden furniture and richly coloured carpets and curtains. Both the rooms and bathrooms are in good condition. Superior rooms were renovated in 2006 and are in very good condition.
The lobby is large in size with wooden floor and decorated in warm colours. The overall atmosphere is inviting and guests are able to congregate in the large lounge area. There is a very attractive bar next to the lobby.
The restaurants are attractive and welcoming. One is on the first floor and offers an airy and light atmosphere. The other is on the ground floor and is traditional with wall paintings and decorative gothic style archways. It offers a cosy dining atmosphere and typical Austrian cuisine.
