This family-run guesthouse is situated close to the city bypass just a 15 minute bus ride from Edinburgh City Centre. The property has recently been refurbished and upgraded to a high standard. Guests can choose from a selection of singe/twin/double and family bedrooms. The bedrooms all come with colour television and hospitality trays as standard. Many of the bedrooms also have full en-suite facilities. A full cooked breakfast is taken in the delightful dining conservatory.

The Emerald House is only a short bus ride to Princes Street, one of the world's most famous shopping boulevards. With its impressive range of smaller shops and department stores, Princes Street is almost guaranteed to leave you with tired feet and an empty wallet. There is so much more to shopping in Edinburgh though, and it's highly recommended you also take a walk up the Royal Mile and the Grassmarket area where there are many quaint and specialist shops waiting to be explored.
