Solaro, is the second center of the island, largely composed of white houses. GROTTA AZZURRA The ancients already knew the famous grotto as we can see from the ruins of Roman structures but the true discovery came during the 19th century. The aperture is about 2 meters across and just over a meter high; the interior can be reached with special boats (the depth of the sea ranges from 14 to 22 meters). GARDENS OF AUGUSTUS A public garden overlooks the sea, with scenic terraces offering panoramic views of Capri, the Faraglioni and the Marina Piccola.
