The Volcano House is a moderate property with 42 rooms on 2 floors. Perhaps the most rustic and intimate hotel in all of Hawaii. It is located in one of the most exciting and unique parts of the world - the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Situated at the 4, 000 foot level on the rim of the Kilauea Crater.

Rooms feature authentic Hawaiian comforters, traditional Koa Furniture and recently refurbished bathrooms with shower bath. The Lounge has a fire place lit for most of the year as well as a dining room overlooking the crater. The national park features the only active volcano in the state of Hawaii.
