The Barns Hotel Bedford is situated in a beautiful riverside location within newly landscaped gardens. It's built around a barn and 17th century manor house and still retains much of its original beamed and timbered features. Dine overlooking the river. Anglers Restaurant offers a superb a la carte menu with an excellent wine list to match. Alternatively the Foxy Fish Pub with it's open fires offers traditional pub meals.

For more strenuous activities, guests have access to the local Oasis Fitness and Leisure Club. Samuel Whitbread, founder of the brewing business, was born in the main house in 1720 and it remained within the Whitbread family until 1890s, becoming a hotel in 1987.
