The hotel is set in the middle of the park of the health resort of Bad Wildungen, so it's ideal for the leisure or business traveller. The rooms vary in size but the more modern rooms have air conditioning plus some other modern amenities, but the older rooms definately have more character with high ceilings and balconys. There's a large pool with a saune and steamroom attached and the restaurant serves a good selection of meals for those on half board as well as having an a la carte menu. Thanks to its natural springs, this health resort offers a number of interesting leisure activities, such as water sports on the Edersee in the nearby Waldecker Land.
