This hotel is located close to Amsterdam airport in the reclaimed Haarlemermeer on the A4 motorway between Amsterdam and the Hague. The hotel is set back from the road and is surrounded by fields and greenery. There is a hotel shuttle bus to and from the airport where there are direct train links every 10 minutes to Central station. The travel time by train is 12 minutes by fast train and 20 minutes by slow train.
This is a very unique hotel with some suites consisting of saunas, jacuzzis and even full sized swimming pools although the Top Suites have a steam bath only. The public areas are also impressive and so the hotel offers very good value for money. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the airport which gives easy access to Central Station ensuring that this hotel is suitable for both groups and individual travellers. jg/07/2008.
The hotel is a large, low rise modern building which is painted in blue and white.
Although the lobby is extremely spacious, it has retained a cosy atmosphere which has been created with plants, comfortable sofas and dark wooden furniture. There is a large reception desk and numerous meeting rooms and a lovely bar located off the lobby.
The "Top Suites" are very large and consist of a very large bed and an open bathroom with a large round bath and a steam shower in the centre of the bedroom so ideal for a romantic stay or a honeymoon. There is a seperate room with a toilet. They are decorated in light blue colours and are in good condition.
The huge restaurant is connected to the lobby and is in the same style with wooden furniture and plants. It is also surrounded by floor to ceiling windows making it appear even larger. The restaurant is very popular with locals due to its "value for money" cuisine.
1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 10 km to the nearest fair site (rai), 14 kms to city centre, 5 km to the nearest station (schiphol), 5 kms to the nearest airport (schiphol).
