The bedrooms are large and are all decorated in a modern style with a predominantly gold colour scheme. Many have excellent views over Amsterdam city and all are in very good condition. The bathrooms are also in very good condition. All bedrooms benefit from fax machine, internet access & isdn plug and the renovated rooms have televisions in the bathrooms. These rooms are larger than the standard rooms.
The lobby and public areas are very comfortable and spacious, and mainly decorated by using several kinds of marble. There is a large reception desk, and a seating area of a superb quality.
There are several restaurants, including the hotel's world renowned Japanese restaurants which include the Michelin starred Yamazoto restaurant. This hotel also has an elegant rooftop restaurant "Le Ciel", which has recently also been given 1 Michelin star and has amazing views of the city of Amsterdam, and also a more casual tea shop.
