This hotel is ideally located close to the Rai Congress Centre and metro station and is within easy reach of the motorway, airport, and city centre. There is also a tram that goes to the city centre from next to the hotel in approximately 10 minutes.
This is an excellent hotel for both individuals and groups from all parts of the world and is within easy reach of downtown Amsterdam. It comes highly recommended, especially since its extensive and impressive renovation. 01062010JG.
This is a fairly high rise building in modern style - with extensive car parking - which does not reflect the standard of the interior, however, it has also benefitted from a make over and has a red bow painted on it to make it stand out.
The lobby has also been renovated and consists of individual reception desks and a seperate, large group check in reception. The main attraction is the exposed brick behind the reception area which also covers a large proportion of the lobby, along with its futuristic lighting and furniture. Their is also a snack bar and childrens play area and business centre.
The restaurant has benefitted from an extensive and complete renovation, like the rest of the hotel, and is now a very large but at the same time intimate space incorporating a Fusion style restaurant as well as a sushi bar; seating for single travellers which offers them their very own television screen; a private dining room; and a very trendy and popular bar area.
The rooms are all medium in size and are very chic with a neutral beige and brown colour scheme, sofa bed, and writing desk. Soft lighting gives the rooms an almost romantic atmosphere and the new style is vastly improved compared to the former standard Novotel style.
