The hotel is conveniently located near the city centre overlooking the harbour. Schiphol Airport is approx 20 minutes from the hotel. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel offering easy access to the Central Station.

This is a very modern building.
The bedrooms are in good condition and worthy of a first class hotel, although the beds consist of one base and two separate mattresses. The colour scheme of the rooms are predominantly cream with black and all have a large piece of art by the bed, hence the name of the hotel. All rooms have air-conditioning. The bathrooms are also in very good condition and are black and white with silver sink areas and gold framed mirrors, making them stand out from average hotel bathroom.
The lobby is medium in size and very modern, with plenty of light from the floor to ceiling windows. It is an atrium-style lobby with works of art on the walls, which are very impressive and all for sale. There is a marble floor and a marble lobby and limited, but attractive, seating. The bar is located just off the lobby and is large and in the style of a typical Dutch brown cafe with wooden floors and tables and dark brown ceilings, giving a cosy and traditional feel.
The restaurant is located on the ground floor and is also a little different to your normal hotel restaurant with purple carpet and purple chairs, artwork on the walls, beamed ceiling and a semi-circular breakfast buffet bar. It overlooks the hotel gardens and the local outdoor swimming pool.
1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 15 kms to the nearest airport (schiphol), 2 km to the nearest station (sloterdyk), 4 kms to city centre, 7 km to the nearest fair site (rai).
